IT Security Consulting
Clarity for security-related decisions
We help you understand risks, clarify compliance requirements and turn the conclusions of audits, tests or internal assessments into a concrete action plan.
Security starts with clarity. And clarity starts with understanding the context you are in.
What does IT security consulting mean?
We help you understand where the risks are, what obligations you have and which steps are worth taking next.
We don’t come with standard lists of recommendations or with solutions that only look good in a report. We start from your organisation’s reality: the systems you use, the available resources, compliance requirements and business objectives.
Consulting can include:
- IT risk assessment
- Defining security controls
- Internal policies and procedures
- Compliance support (NIS2, DORA, BNR, ASF, ADR, ANAF)
- Roadmaps and remediation plans
- IT security due diligence
- Support after audits, penetration tests or security incidents
In other words, if the audit tells you where you stand and testing shows you what vulnerabilities exist, consulting helps you decide what to do next.
When you need consulting
Consulting can be useful when:
Security Strategy
You are building or updating your security strategy
IT Risks
You need structured IT risk management
Post-Audit Priorities
You have completed an audit and don’t know the priorities
Vulnerability Remediation
You have received a penetration testing report
Regulatory Compliance
You are preparing for compliance requirements
Security By Design
You are implementing a digitalisation project
IT Due Diligence
You are preparing an acquisition, a merger or a vendor selection
Incident Analysis
You have gone through a security incident
Executive Clarity
Management needs clarity
External Expertise
There is no internal security team
What consulting can include
It depends on the context, but in general it covers:
Security governance and controls
We analyse how security is organised in the company:
- who decides
- who implements
- who is accountable
- how controls are defined
IT risk management
We help you identify and prioritise the risks that really matter to your organisation. Not only from a technical perspective, but also in terms of business impact.
Policies and procedures
We support you in defining or updating internal documentation:
- security policies
- operational procedures
- access rules
- incident response
- operational continuity
Security roadmap and remediation plan
We turn the conclusions of audits, assessments or tests into concrete steps.
We establish:
- what needs to be fixed
- in what order
- with what resources
- within what timeframe
Compliance support
We help you understand and apply the requirements relevant to your organisation, including:
- NIS2
- DORA
- BNR
- ASF
- ADR
- ANAF
IT security due diligence
We assess risks before major business decisions:
- acquisitions
- mergers
- outsourcing
- vendor selection
- systems integration
Post-audit, post-pentest and post-incident consulting
We help you turn results into action.
- interpret the findings correctly
- prioritise the risks correctly
- define the remediation plan
- communicate clearly to management and technical teams
Digitalisation projects and European funds
Integrating security from the project stage reduces later costs and risks. We help you define security requirements before implementation, not after.
How we work
The process is easy to follow:
1. Understanding the context and the objective
We clarify objectives, constraints and applicable requirements.
2. Assessing the current situation
We review infrastructure, processes, documentation and existing results (audit, pentest, internal assessments).
3. Identifying risks and priorities
We separate what is critical from what is just a box to tick.
4. Providing clear direction
Recommendations are structured so that they can be used directly:
- by technical teams
- by management
- by compliance officers
5. Supporting implementation
We provide clarifications and support while the measures are being implemented.
What you get at the end
- Assessment of context and current situation
- IT risk assessment
- Prioritised remediation plan
- Security roadmap
- Technical and organisational recommendations
- Compliance support
- Internal documentation (policies and procedures)
- Responsibility matrix
- Executive summary for management
- Support in interpreting the audit or tests
- Post-incident recommendations

Frequently asked questions
Start with a simple assessment and receive concrete steps within 24h.
What is the difference between consulting and a security audit?
The audit shows you where you stand at a given moment: what controls exist, how well they work and where there are non-conformities. Consulting goes further and helps you decide what to do with this information: which risks really matter, what needs to be fixed first and how to organise the next steps. In short, the audit makes the diagnosis and consulting builds the plan.
Do we need to do an audit first before we can start consulting?
Not necessarily. If you already have the results of an audit, a penetration test or an internal assessment, we start from those. If not, we begin with an analysis of the current situation, sized according to the organisation’s needs. The goal is to have enough clarity to make the right decisions, not to go through steps just for the sake of the process.
We have received the results of an audit or a penetration test from another provider. Can you help us put them into practice?
Yes. This is one of the situations in which consulting can add the most value. We analyse the findings, prioritise them according to risk and impact and turn them into a realistic remediation plan, tailored to the organisation’s resources. It doesn’t matter who carried out the initial assessment.
What do we do if the recommendations exceed the resources we have?
Recommendations must be adapted to the organisation, not the other way round. We split the measures into stages, identify simpler alternatives where possible and determine which risks can be accepted temporarily, in a deliberate and documented way. The goal is to build a plan that can be implemented, not an ideal one that is never put into practice.
How do we track progress once the action plan has been established?
The plan includes clear steps and deadlines, so that progress can be checked at any time. We periodically review the implementation status together, adjust priorities if there are changes in the organisation or in legislation and recommend, where appropriate, validation through an audit or penetration test.
